How it works
How to read this birth chart

This wheel is a tropical birth chart. With a birth time it uses Placidus houses. When the time is unknown it uses whole-sign houses and noon, so the Sun, Moon, and planets can still be placed. Rising, the ascendant, needs a clock time and a city.

The marks are the planets and the angles. A line between two points is a major aspect: conjunction, opposition, trine, square, or sextile, drawn when the orb is inside the usual range. Select a planet to read the paragraph stored for that placement.

The same birthday, time, and city always return the same wheel. The paragraphs come from a text library we edit. The kundli is the Vedic chart: sidereal, Lahiri ayanamsha, a North Indian diamond, Moon rashi, and Vimshottari dasha.

How is a birth chart different from a kundli?
The birth chart here is Western/tropical with a circular wheel. A kundli is Vedic/sidereal (Lahiri) with a North Indian diamond chart, dasha, and rashi. Same birthday can show different signs. Use Birth Chart for Western, Kundli for Vedic.
Do I need my exact birth time?
For Rising and houses, yes. Without a time we still place the planets in signs (using noon) and use whole-sign houses as a sketch. Add a time when you have it.
