Common questions
How do I find my Chinese zodiac animal?
Enter your birth year. If you were born in January or early February, add the date — Chinese New Year, not January 1, is the cutoff. You can also tap an animal.
Is Chinese New Year the cutoff?
Yes. Someone born 15 January 2024 is a Rabbit, not a Dragon, because Chinese New Year in 2024 was 10 February. A mid-year birthday can use the Gregorian year alone.
Is this the same as a sun-sign horoscope?
No. Sun-sign pages use tropical Western date ranges (for example Leo, 23 Jul–22 Aug). The Chinese horoscope is the year animal — Rat through Pig. Neither is a Vedic kundli.
Do I need an account?
No. Year of birth is enough. A free profile is only for chart-based love, career, and kundli readings.
